Quebec Passes Bill 128 and Montreal Updates Animal Control Bylaw

Please click on the link below to read information from CKC regarding the passing of Bill 128 in Quebec, as well as the proposed ban on choke collars, prong collars and e collars as of January 1, 2020. There are items that have passed that will be of interest to owners of dogs weighing over 20 kgs, limitations on number of pets owned and mandatory spay and neutering for cats, dogs and rabbits that are NOT registered with a recognized breed association.
