Hi Caroline, I don’t know if you remember me, but I used to come out for a while several years back to the club and a few sieger shows, even if I never owned a Rottweiler. I bred and showed Dogue de Bordeauxs at the time. I remember Riggs very well and I’m sorry your friend is no longer by your side.lol I am presently caring for my last two female Dogue de Bordeauxs Diva and River, I foster a labrador retriever owned by Canda Guide Dogs “Rosa” and I’ve recently acquired a female puppy english springer spaniel which I am training for detection. I am doing a 1 year apprenticeship st Dave McMahon dog Academy and have met there a lady who is very nice, and has a gorgeous male Rottweiler puppy. I think he is 18 months old, we got talking and I said she should show him. She said her breeder would love that but she has never seen a show, been to a show, knows nothing about dog shows but she is a very good handler . I think she would do fine and she would like us to do a little bit of prep work between now and then. Can you remind me of a few things for the Sieger show. It is only “free stacking” not CKC style stacking where you can physically place the dogs feet Right? Also collars, does it have to be the german style chocker or is prong allowed. I totally forget. I think Steve’s dogs were always in a German Style collar. Lori’s dog “Saxon” is very well socialized. I will pass you her email if you could get in touch with her, that would be wonderful. Questions on entry forms etc… . If you could get back to me on those show questions and collars that would be great. I will go over the breed standard with her, and practice some show troting.
I’ll likely come out with Lori to she her show her dog in September , so I’ll see you then, in the meantime I hope all is well with you , Thank you, Lise Molgat. KIttimer Kennels Perm Reg’d.
Of course I remember you. It’s no nice to hear from you and thanks for reaching out.. Do you want me to send the show information to Lori or to you? I only got Lori’s email.
I have adpoted a sieonr miniature Schnauzer 8 yrs old , She has a skin rash . I have carried her to the vet he gave me steroids and the rash got better but only while on the med. I use special shampoo for dogs wth sensitive skin. I am not really sure what to do for her any advice will be appreciated . I have no way of contacting her previous owner so I don’t know her history .
I just saw the new merchandise. I like the new logo. I wish that the style of hats would of stayed though, and maybe add some black in the t-shirts and hoodies. LOL Gotta get me one of those flasks. Thanks Caroline, TTYL David
