My first Rottie was a rescue girl. She was approximately 5 – 6 months old. Through a
lot of patience and a lot of work, she turned into one of the most amazing friends a
man could have. This was my introduction to the wonderful Rottie breed.
As a result of Sam and her love, I started my own kennel. ( Fortail Rottweilers ). I have been active in both the breeding and conformation aspect of this wonderful
breed for the past 13 – 14 years now. Along the way I have met some great people who have helped by being mentors, both improving my own knowledge of the breed and the dog world. Along the way I have produced six CKC Champions from five litters.
I still have more to learn, as in most aspects of life no matter how much we learn
there is always more that can be learned. An open mind and a bit of work can keep
this learning curve going. This is an opportunity to do so.
At this point in time I believe that through this nomination it is time to return
some of the support I have received from others, and pay it forward so to speak. We
are all involved in a breed that in my opinion is one of, if not the best to work /
play with. I believe this club is a huge part in representing us all as Rottie
people in a positive manner and am pleased / proud to have learned from it, and feel
it’s now time to contribute my share back to both the Club, Rotties, and their
owners.
I will do my best to represent the RCC and its members, and the breed as a whole in
a positive and respectful manner
