Amanda's Rottweilers

Hello, my name is Amanda Halayko. I am glad to return to the Prairie Director position.

I have owned rottweilers since 1998 when I got my first beautiful male Zeus.  He made me fall in love with this breed even more.  I started my trek with them in obedience and now do obedience, confirmation and rally with my current dogs.    I am a proud owner/ handler.

I have been an obedience instructor at Winnipeg K-9 Education since 2000.  I feel there is great importance in teaching dogs effectively and humanly.  I love when fellow Rottweiler people come to our classes as it provides me the chance to give the first hand experiences and help them with their dog.

I have run successful Regional and National specialties for the club and continue to support the Rottweiler Club of Canada’s mandate.  I am an advocate against breed legislations and try my best to educate people on our breed.

I look forward to serving as your Prairie Director for the next 2 years and welcome and suggestion and comments you may have for the Prairie region or RCC.
